Mindfulness towards Shalom
Shalom is much more than peace. It's wholeness and completeness. It's what God has intended for us.
In the mornings, I write a little before prayer and meditation. This word 'Shalom' has been a good word to write down and dwell on throughout the scriptures. Septuagint application of this word is very interesting.
Because I am prone to obsessive, anxious and depressive thinking, I need to dwell in the transcendent promises of shalom found in the sacred writings of the Bible. I long for wholeness and completeness.
And yes, this wholeness and completeness I find in the real presence of Christ through his Holy Spirit. There is great peace and wonder and glory in his presence. 'In his presence there is fulness of joy and at his right hand there are pleasures forevermore.'

Love to you all.
