I injured my leg last weekend on a run. The inside of my left leg became sore to the point where it was painful to walk. I tried running on Monday and ended up resting Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week.

Injury or being hurt is a great time to re-assess what I'm trying to achieve in my workouts. I mentioned in an earlier post that I am trying to get a PR in the 10k distance. Achieved. I am running much, much faster now. I also need to realize that I am 39, 6'4" and 240 pounds. Maybe I'm not built for running. Maybe I'm built for other kinds of fitness and training.
I now want to re-calibrate fitness goals - asking the following questions: Wht We are going away as a family next week. It will be a time of thinking through the running routine and other fitness goals.
